Indirect Screen-printing
What is indirect Screen-printingTypical Screen-printing to T-Shirts involves printing through a screen directly to the garment, The limitation of the process are that the item must be able to withstand high heat, and you can not print to fluffy fabrics. because you are printing wet ink onto the fabric, the fibres of the fabric will get lifted when printing resulting in an uneven rough print.
Indirect Screen-printing is a process where we screenprint to a transfer paper using standard plastisol inks, A special glue is applied to the print, when dry it is heat pressed onto the item. This avoids the problems with heat and because the print is dry when its pressed it can be placed onto textured and fluffy fabrics with great success.
